TERRITORY SALES CONSULTANT
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Open and establish strong professional relationships with hair stylists and salon owners within the territory.
- Review monthly sales reports and identify sales trends with sales manager and distributor management.
- Provide detailed product knowledge on all products with consistency, professionalism and appropriate verbiage to salons; including sales tips, features and benefits focused on both consumers and professionals.
- Attend sales meetings and events and participate in all activities required to transmit brand message and product knowledge to all attendees
- Launch and present all new marketing initiatives to salons
- Help to implement strategic salon/store merchandising programs
- Candidates with outside sales and salon industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High sales drive
- Ability to self-motivate and manage
- Ability to prospect and close new business
- Strong negotiation skills
- Service oriented
- Adaptable to working with and educating various personality types
- Competitive and collaborative
- Field sales experience a plus
Warehouse
Position Requirements Include:
* Perform General Labor inside Warehouse
* Off-loading pallets of freight
* Checking off shipment contents with
basic scanning equipment
* UPS Shipments weighed, registered,
labeled and stacked
* Position does not require forklift
experience, but some awareness with floor
pallet jacks preferred.
* Salary based on experience with six
months and one year raises
* Group Health paid at 80% available
* Paid holidays, vacation, personal days
and a quarterly bonus
* Hours Mon. through Fri. 8:30am-5:00pm

Position Summary
The Brand Manager, employed by our distributor partner Twin State Beauty Supply and located in the territory , will lead Oligo Professionnel’s strategic initiatives to increase brand presence across West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington DC. With a dual reporting structure to both Twin State Salon Supply and Oligo Professionnel, this pivotal role entails driving sustained growth and expanding market presence for the Oligo Professionnel brand within Twin State’s territory.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Manage distributor operations across territory.
- Provide comprehensive educational support to our distributor, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to excel.
- Lead educational initiatives within targeted markets, ensuring professionals have access to top-tier training.
- Build and maintain strong ties with distributor partners and individual salons.
- Planning of education calendar for distributors and top accounts.
- Play a pivotal role in supporting various education activities such as artistic classes, trade shows, and events, amplifying our brand’s presence and impact.
- Lead and support the local Technical Advisor team offering guidance and coaching to enhance their effectiveness.
- Undertake any other relevant tasks as needed to contribute to the overall success of our educational initiatives.
Sales
- Conduct quarterly strategic meetings with the distributor to align on goals and objectives.
- Actively participate in distributor sales meetings.
- Provide comprehensive training to distributor sales consultants, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively represent our brand.
- Strategically target sales opportunities and salon acquisitions within designated markets, maximizing our presence and potential revenue.
- Implement targeted sales and promotional initiatives within our key markets.
- Collaborate closely with distributor sales consultants on detailing efforts.
- Undertake any other pertinent tasks essential to supporting our distributor network and achieving our sales objectives.
Education and Experience:
- Valid Cosmetology license required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in the professional beauty industry.
- Sales experience in professional hair care, preferably in hair colour.
Skills & Competencies:
- Fluency in English (Spoken, read, and written – Knowledge of Spanish is an asset).
- Ability to work with MS Office suites (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak periods.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills with experience in developing and motivating teams.
- Must be result-oriented and organized.
- Demonstrates leadership and can motivate other individuals.
- Financial acumen to build sales forecasts and track results.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
